Itinerary of your journey

Santiago to Puerto Varas

Arrive in Santiago, fly to Puerto Montt, and transfer to Hotel Cumbres in Puerto Varas. Explore the town in the afternoon and meet for dinner in the evening.

Chaiten & Rio Futaleufu

Fly to Chaiten and enjoy a scenic bus ride to our camp on the Rio Futaleufu. Settle into your riverside tent and gather for dinner and an introduction to the week’s activities.

Rafting on Rio Futaleufu

Start with breakfast and a yoga option, followed by a thrilling day of rafting. Afterward, unwind with various camp activities like hiking, yoga, or relaxing by the river.

Rafting Class V Rapids

Raft the Fu’s most intense rapids, including the Class V 'Casa de Piedra.' Afterward, relax at camp with a spa session and a hearty dinner.

Kayaking Rio Azul

Paddle your own inflatable kayak down the Rio Azul, navigating Class II-III rapids. Enjoy free time in the afternoon for fishing or a bike ride.

Horseback & Hiking Rio Azul

Explore the Rio Azul Valley on horseback, followed by a hike to a waterfall. Return to camp for a relaxing evening.

Rafting Inferno Canyon

Tackle the intense Inferno Canyon rapids. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Chilean 'curanto' dinner and a night by the campfire.

Final Rapids & Asado

Raft the final and most challenging rapids, including 'The Terminator.' End the day with a celebratory Chilean Asado and a toast to the river.

Return to Santiago

Drive to Chaiten Airport for your flight back to Puerto Montt. Transfer to El Tepual Airport for your flight to Santiago or your next destination.
